Can I use anchors in my email campaigns?

When the layout of your email calls for the use of anchors you can easily enter the anchors in Mailkit editor but you should know that this is not supported by all email clients.

In general the anchors and anchor links work in desktop email clients like Outlook or Thunderbird but they won't work in web-based emails like Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook.com, etc. If you are happy with the limited functionality caused by the technical aspects of different clients you are free to add the anchor links to your emails the following way:

Since every link is converted by Mailkit into a tracker link you need to force an exception from this rule. You can do that by adding httpz:// in front of the anchor link

 • standard way of using anchor link: Lorem ipsum<
 • anchor link compatible with Mailkit: Lorem ipsum
